The venue will be open from 4.30pm on Friday, November 6, 2026 and we would be very grateful for anyone who can spare some time to help with the set-up.
You don’t need to be able to move tables – there are plenty of other jobs where an extra pair of hands makes a huge difference, including:
- Setting up nets
- Putting out scoreboards
- Preparing playing areas
- General preparation around the venue
Even if you can only help for half an hour, it would be hugely appreciated. We really do need your support to get the tournament ready.
Players turning up to help with the set-up will be welcome to stay for a knock after the job has been done. Thanks.
Promotion Stand & VETTS Raffle
We will have a VETTS promotion stand and raffle running throughout the weekend, raising funds for the Society.
We need volunteers to help on the stand during the weekend, so if you can spare some time, please let us know.
Donations: And if you have any unwanted gifts, new items or suitable prizes that could be donated to the raffle, they would be very gratefully received. Every contribution helps support VETTS activities.
Please Step Up and Umpire
A reminder to everyone taking part: please be prepared to step up and umpire when needed.
There are no designated umpires for our events, and everyone playing has a part to play in keeping the tournament running smoothly. Your willingness to umpire will help ensure that matches stay on schedule and that everyone gets to enjoy their weekend.
A Big Thank You
The team of people who are helping to make the event happen:
Referee: Kim Mudge, Deputy Referee: Linda Radford
Tournament Organiser: Dan Milburn
Control Table: Kim Johnson, Viv Barry, Steve & Gywneth Adams
And a special thank you to Bribar for providing equipment and sponsorship and for their continued support of VETTS.
Safe Travels….
Whether you’re travelling from nearby or making a longer journey, have a safe trip to Norwich!
Good luck to everyone taking part – and enjoy the weekend!
