WVC2020 Cancellation Conditions
2 different specific cases have to be taken into account:
Case of cancellation and refund request prior to 26/03/2020, These requests will be reimbursed according to our general terms and conditions (GTC)that were applied for that period (see website).
Case of cancellation and refund request made from 26/03/2020, These refund requests will be reimbursed according to the conditions below.
The Organizing Committee, in accordance with French law and order 2020-538 of 7 May 2020 "related to the financial conditions for the termination of certain contracts in the event of force majeure in the cultural and sports sectors", did determined the conditions concerning the modification and cancellation of your participation in WVC2020, following its postponement to the period from 26 April to 02 May 2021.
1/ Due to the postponement of WVC2020, all purchases concerning registration fees (players/accompanying persons), hotel room, tourist activities or shop purchase, bought only via the official website of the competition, by the participants, induce a credit note equivalent to their purchases and are therefore automatically carried over to the new dates.
2/ The WVC2020 competition is postponed from April 26th to May 02nd 2021, under the same commercial conditions for all our services.
• Any refund request made between 26 March 2020 and 02 October 2020 included, will result in a full refund of the cost incurred (less miscellaneous bank fee).
• After 02 October 2020, requests for cancellation will result in the following cancellation fees:
50% fee for a refund request of the costs of player/accompanying person registrations made before 16 December 2020 and 100% fee from this date, (less miscellaneous bank fee).
50% fee for a refund request of the costs of hotel room and tourist and shopping services made before 16 December 2020, 70% fee before 16 February 2021 and 100% fee from this last date, (less miscellaneous bank fee).
Requests for modification of stay duration in the hotel as well as modification of tourist activities or shops will also be taken into account without any charge.
The Organizing Committee will process requests for reimbursement from September 01, 2020, on a first-come, first-served basis as quickly as possible.
To proceed to your refund, your request must reach us by email at firstname.lastname@example.org, specifying imperatively :
- Your invoice number and the amount to be refunded
- Your IBAN / BIC or RIB numbers and name of your bank with surname / first name of the bank account holder
- or credit card number that purchased the service
PS: All requests that have already been sent to us by email before today have already been taken into account.
